Let's break this down!
1. We will begin with a basic telephone consultation, where we may ask each other questions, forms may be given out so that a file is started, and with your specific needs. You can then determine if hypnosis is something that feels right for you! For many people, hypnotherapy may be something completely new, and might have questions. Usually, this initial call will last around 15 or 20 mins.
2. If you decide Hypnosis is right, we will schedule an appointment. The first appointment usually will last around 90 minutes, sometimes a bit longer, sometimes less. This appointment usually will run longer than future ones because we usually have more questions for each other, forms to discuss, etc. This face to face consultation will also afford the Hypnotherapist time to finalize the proper techniques for your individual suggestibility. Depending on the reason you desire change, we may discuss positive psychology and coaching tools.
* Please note, I will ask you to fill out an intake form to help me establish a more personalized session. This form may be downloaded and filled out online, or printed out and discussed over phone. It can be found under the "downloadable forms" link. You need only fill out what you are comfortable sharing ... however, the more information we have, the more customize the session.
3. Next, is the easy part! You will be asked to relax in a comfortable chair or recliner, you may choose to cover yourself with a blanket or whatever else you feel would add to your comfort. Once in this very safe and comfortable setting, while relaxing ... that is your entire job. At that time while relaxing, you simply need to listen to the words and voice of the Hypnotherapist.
4. After our session is completed, we will schedule our next appointment if you desire.
